My name is Tessa Reed and I’m sharing this card for the Pear Blossom Press and HAI Supply blog hop! This card was SO easy to make!

To see the video of the process for creating this card, and links to the supplies, head on over to my YouTube here:

https://youtu.be/L82kKELGWSI

Or you can read on to see photos of the process!

I first started out by using a punch to punch out as many hexagon shapes out of one 6×6 piece of handmade washi paper by HAI Supply, and arranged them to cover a majority of my card front.

I then made sure my sentiment fit nicely on the front of my card.

After making sure my sentiment fit, I needed to make sure the lights were positioned correctly. I cut out a small rectangle section of paper behind where my sentiment was going, then traced the inside of the cut out to give myself a guide for light placement.

After taping down the lights, I wound the wire around my finger to condense it and make sure it would fit under the panel nicely.

I then used a bunch of foam tape to adhere the card front to the light panel, and I was done!

Don’t forget to hop to Ali’s blog next, and leave comments along the way for a chance to win!

  1. Love the randomness of
    placement and designs
    on the hexagons. Lighting
    the sentiment is a great
    idea. Wonderful card.
    thanks for sharing
